Email volunteer@fords.org to become a Ford's Theatre Volunteer.
Ford’s Theatre volunteers play a very significant role in the overall visitor experience this historic site has to offer. Volunteers are the face of Ford's Theatre and are expected to represent the theatre with the highest standard of respect and value.
Ford's Theatre has added two new volunteer opportunities:
Site Volunteers interact with daily visitors and the Park Service Rangers during National Historic Site business hours. Duties include directing, scanning tickets and seating visitors.
Administrative Volunteers operate on an on-call basis when extra hands are needed in the Ford's Theatre administrative offices. Departments such as development and education often use volunteers.
