Information and Performance Guidelines for Groups
Golden Rules
• Please be sure to turn off all devices such as cell phones, pagers, blackberrys and hands-free headsets during performances
• All excessive noise is disruptive to performers and other audience members. Please wait for intermissions or after final curtain to leave your seats.
• No food or beverage inside the theatre and museum at anytime.
• Because of copyright laws and actor’s safety, please refrain from using photography or recording devices during performances.
Promptness
All groups should plan to arrive at least 15- 30 minutes prior to show time. Late arrivals are not eligible for any refunds, credits or exchanges.
Parking & Metro
Limited meter parking is available around the theatre. There are also some nearby parking lots. Be aware that many of the parking lots near the theatre close before the conclusion of evening performances. Nearest metro access to theatre is located at Metro Center and Gallery Place/Chinatown stations.
Downtown Dining
Washington, D.C., has many great dining options near Ford’s Theatre. Visitors will find options to fit every budget and taste.

Many wonderful hotels are located near Ford’s Theatre. Visitors will find a variety of options to fit a range of budgets.
