Ford’s Theatre National Historic Site (Museum, Theatre, Petersen House) and the Center for Education and Leadership will be closed to the public on Friday, May 22, and Sunday, May 31. In addition, Tuesday, May 26 – Saturday, May 30, the museum and theatre will be closed to the public, while the Petersen House and Center for Education and Leadership will remain open.

A History on Foot walking tour brings Civil War Washington to life! Led by an actor in costume, the tour explores sites in downtown Washington related to Lincoln, the assassination and the Civil War.

Private History on Foot Tours
Private tours of History on Foot are available by request and based on availability. There is a flat fee of $680 for a private tour for a group of 2-40 people. Full payment is due at the time of tour confirmation. To facilitate scheduling of your tour, please be prepared to provide your first, second and third choice of dates and times, the number of people, and a very brief description of your group.
